Shakespearean character comedy
Introduced by amiable host, Bill Shakespeare, four of his best-loved characters step up to the mic. Hamlet is a wild-eyed Dane angry about adverts; Richard III has a mean streak a mile wide; Ophelia’s an unhinged cockney teenager; and Katherine the Shrew an upper class fetishist. All of which is cleverly amusing for those in the know. Especially Hils Barker as the hilarious Katherine, a character worthy of her own TV show. (Kelly Apter)
The Green Room, 220 0885, until 26 Aug, 4pm, £7–£8 (£6–£7).
