To celebrate The Year of Creative Scotland 2012, Piping Live! Festival On Tour will bring piping to new audiences and locations across Scotland. The tour, which runs from 31 Jul to 4 Aug, will offer the opportunity to enjoy the best of Scotland’s traditional music captured in iconic historical surroundings. Striking venues including Culzean Castle and Eilean Donan Castle will play host to a line-up of world renowned pipers, such as Glenfiddich Champion Pipe Major Gordon Walker and Dunvegan medal winner Niall Stewart.

Attendees can even have a go at our national instrument, with sample lessons from some of the world’s greatest pipers. The free events offer a taster of what is set to take place at Piping Live!
