Marry Me is a bizarre hotchpotch of higgledy piggledy melodies, high-pitched harmonies, sweeping strings and harps, horn snatches, tinkling pianos and warm, acoustic guitars, all driven by Clark’s swoonsome soprano and unique storytelling, and it makes for truly compelling listening as a result.
