Charlie Brooks' explosive EastEnders exit
Charlie Brooks is set to have an "explosive" exit from 'EastEnders' in scenes with her on-screen husband Michael Moon.
Charlie Brooks' 'EastEnders' exit will be "explosive".
The actress - who plays super-bitch Janine Butcher in the BBC soap - is taking six-months off and the final storyline will see her character become worried about on-screen husband Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd) and how much she can trust him.
A source said: "The storyline is action-packed. Janine and Michael have always had huge trust issues, and their wedding and the birth of their daughter last month has done nothing to change that.
"Things come to a head when she accuses him of seeing another woman, which he denies. She then demands to know why he forced her to rip up their pre-nuptial agreement before their wedding and then she gives him a big test."
She decides to leave £450,000 in the kitchen of their home and says if the money is still there in the morning then she will be able to trust him.
Although Michael decides to leave the money, in a twist Janine walks out, but it is not known if she will take her young daughter Scarlett with her.
It is believe Charlie may be taking time out to appear in BBC reality show 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
She has already filmed the scenes, which will air in September.
