Alesha Dixon wants David Walliams unedited on BGT
Alesha Dixon is looking forward to David Walliams being un-edited for the first time when 'Britain's Got Talent' gets to the live finals.
Alesha Dixon is looking forward to seeing what David Walliams does on the live 'Britain's Got Talent' finals.
The singer - who left her role as judge on the BBC's 'Strictly Come Dancing' to join Simon Cowell on 'BGT' - is not nervous about the live shows come around and is hoping it will give fellow new panellist David a chance to shine.
She said: "I got used to doing live shows with 'Strictly' and 'BGT' is more relaxed that I thought it would be. On the live shows, there will be more energy and things will be more spontaneous - plus David won't be able to be edited out!
"People are loving him on the show; it's what we've come to expect from him and I think he'll play up to that. I think Simon will be a bit worried, but I can't wait!"
Alesha, who was brought on board to the show by Simon in a bid to mix things up with the BBC, admits she has even voted for 'BGT' acts in the past.
She added in an interview with whatsontv.co.uk: "I 've always been a fan of the show and I remember voting for Diversity and Stavros Flatley. I think the dynamics of the show have changed but, at the heart of it, it's a show about celebrating everything about the British spirit. It's a great year to be a part of it with the Olympics and everything, and hopefully the show can just keep growing and growing."
