Actress Jennifer Aniston will showcase her directing talents at the Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films and Short Film Market, which opens on 23 August. She has co-directed romantic drama “Room 10” with her friend Andrea Buchanan, who was also the screenwriter. Their film has already won a jury prize at the Cinevegas Film Festival in Las Vegas. “Room 10” is based on a true story of a nurse and her treatment of a dying patient. Actress Bryce Dallas Howard, of Spider-Man 3 fame will also show off her directing skills at the Festival with her film “Orchids”. The Palm Springs Festival, also known as Shortfest is now in its 13th year. The full line-up for the festival is due to be announced later today.
