The 'Only Way Is Essex' star - who split from her former fiance and on-off boyfriend of 10 years last August - admitted the pair are no longer speaking because they used to have an "unhealthy" attitude to their tumultuous relationship and believe they'd only be "happy" with no-one else around.

She said: "We haven't spoken for about six or seven weeks now. Before that we were creeping around for ages. We were talking every day and he'd stay at mine four times a week. We were still sleeping together.

"We did discuss getting back together. We'd be happy on a desert island with no one else around, but that's not realistic. It got unhealthy."

While the 25-year-old reality star explained she misses her former 'TOWIE' co-star at times, she thinks it's easier for the couple to "cut all ties".

Lauren added in an interview with new! magazine: "We just stopped calling each other. It's easier to cut all ties. He's jealous, I'm jealous. He unfollowed me on Twitter. There's no hate, we just don't talk.

"I do and I don't miss him. It's weird I can't just see him or pick up the phone, but I haven't felt the need to."
