Margaret Mountford is going to reunite with former 'Apprentice' colleague Nick Hewer on 'Countdown'.
The straight-faced lawyer - who was Lord Alan Sugar's aide on the BBC One show until she was replaced by vice-chairman of West Ham United Karren Brady - will work with the presenter of the Channel 4 daytime quiz programme when she takes up a guest role in Dictionary Corner.
Nick - who took over from Jeff Stelling as 'Countdown' presenter earlier this year - took to his twitter account to confirm the news, writing: "Glad tidings! Margaret has agreed to join Susie Dent in Countdown's Dictionary Corner for a whole week. Soon. More later. (sic)"
The 68-year-old television personality's co-presenter Rachel Riley also tweeted her delight at the news.
She wrote: "We're filming Countdown this weekend with Margaret Mountford. Hoping to get the insider gossip on Nick Hewer.... what would you ask? (sic)"
Nick - who still acts as an advisor to Lord Sugar on 'The Apprentice' - has previously joked he would like to marry his former co-star.
He explained: "I'm very fond of her. I like to think she's fond of me. She has got Elizabeth Taylor's eyes and great teeth. Margaret is not currently married. I always remain hopeful."
