Amanda Holden is keen for Simon Cowell to be godfather to her baby daughter.
The eight months' pregnant star - who already has five-year-old daughter with husband Chris Hughes - wants her 'Britain's Got Talent' co-judge to be a godparent to the unborn tot so he can provide her with a generous "trust fund".
She told ITV1's 'Daybreak': "I might make Simon the godfather because he could set up a trust fund with stacks of money in it because it's a girl - so she'll need shoes."
Meanwhile, the 52-year-old music mogul has hit out at last year's 'BGT' winner, singer Jai McDowall, claiming he wants to uncover someone who can be a "genuine star".
Simon said: "I was disappointed with last year's winner, Jai. You want to find someone who is a star all over the world and who has got a long career.
"With respect to him, he wasn't one of our best ones. He would make a good living in West End theatre and he is talented, but he wasn't what I was looking for.
"You want a Diversity or George Samson or a Susan Boyle, a different kind of artist who makes you feel good about doing the show and who is a genuine star."
