The Only Way Is Essex's Joey Essex is hoping to learn Spanish in the new year from co-star Jess Wright.

Joey Essex's new year's resolution is to learn Spanish.

The 'Only Way Is Essex' hunk - who shared a saucy smooch with co-star Jess Wright during the series three season finale of the ITV2 reality show - is hoping to bag "free lessons" from the brunette beauty, as she is already adept in the lingo.

He said: "I want to learn Spanish - Jess has a Spanish GCSE, so I get free lessons."

However, the 21-year-old star also has a grand plan to become the new "King of Essex" now Jess' brother Mark Wright has quit the show to appear on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' but co-star Mario Falcone is standing in his way.

Joey added in an interview with Closer magazine: "I'm the new King of Essex. Mario reckons it's him, but I know the truth. Arg is too scared to steal my crown and Kirk just throws tantrums.

"I'm in my rightful place - at last!"
