Lacey Turner is to play a paramedic who sees ghosts in the second series of supernatural drama 'Bedlam'.
Lacey Turner is to play a paramedic who sees ghosts in the next series of 'Bedlam'.
The 23-year-old former 'EastEnders' actress is "excited" to have landed the role of Ellie in the paranormal drama - which starred Will Young in the first series - which is set in an old mental asylum that has been turned into a block of flats.
She said: "I am really excited about taking part in the second series of Bedlam.
"It's a great story with brilliant writing and a fantastic cast. Ellie is a really interesting and conflicted character. I'm looking forward to playing her and seeing where the story takes her."
Jack Roth - the son of Hollywood actor Tim - will also appear in the show and is looking forward to seeing where the drama goes in the second series.
He said: "The first series was very interesting, opening many exciting doors to explore in a darker way.
"Horror is a genre which can be capitalised upon brilliantly for television as there is time to fully develop ideas.
"My character Max has a great back story with intriguing and mysterious directions to be taken along with Ellie."
The first series ended with the cast caught up in a massive explosion, but the old stars could make cameo appearances as show bosses tie up loose ends in the new series.
Anne Mensah, head of drama at Sky, said: "We have huge ambitions for 'Bedlam'. The show is a unique combination of engaging relationship drama and real scares."
