Britney comeback interview ‘heartbreaking’

Former pop princes Britney Spears did little to revive her music career after a disastrous attempt at a comeback interview with OK! magazine. The singer contacted the magazine herself to set up the exclusive interview, complete with glamourous photo call. However the resulting interview descended into chaos, with Spears insisting her friends do her make up in place of the professionals. The outcome reportedly so damaging that her management later contacted the magazine to demand the photos were ditched. On top of that was a $21,267 tab for lost and damaged goods and widely-reported rumours concerning her small dog and very expensive dress. Editor in chief Sarah Ivens said they were ‘devastated’ after having “spent a heartbreaking day with Britney Spears and witnessing first-hand an emotional cry for help that will leave you shocked and sad”.
