The Sex Pistols will celebrate their 30th anniversary of debut album Never Mind the Bollocks… Here’s the Sex Pistols with a special vinyl release. The album was originally released on October 28 1977, with the re-issue to be launched on October 29 this year. The original tracklisting saw Submission omitted from the 1977 release, after the album was released a week early by mistake. Paying heed to history, the new heavy weight vinyl edition includes a 7” insert of Submission and a poster. The band also plans to re-release limited edition singles of Anarchy in the UK, God Save the Queen, Pretty Vacant and Holidays in the Sun throughout October. According to the band’s label Virgin the seven-inch vinyl singles will “re-create all the original artwork from the first editions’ front and back” and will be housed in heavyweight paper sleeves.
