Sylar to Spock?

To continue the geek-a-thon, rumours abound that Zachary Quinto is all but nailed on to be cast as Spock in the latest Star Trek movie. At the risk of ruining Heroes for everyone without satellite TV, Quinto plays Sylar in the hit American show and does bear a passing resemblance to the Vulcan science officer. JJ Abrams of Lost fame is producing Star Trek XI, which he will presumably be hoping doesn’t fall into the ‘even numbers are good, odd numbers are rubbish’ tradition of the previous ten incarnations. The remainder of the cast hasn’t been firmed up, but Matt Damon recently confirmed he was up for the role of James Tiberius Kirk.
