Jameela Jamil will present a revamp of dating show 'Playing It Straight'.
Jameela Jamil has been signed up to host revamped dating show 'Playing It Straight'.
The 'T4' presenter will front the programme - which first aired in 2005 - featuring a woman who must choose her perfect man from a group of 12 bachelors.
If she picks a straight man, the pair will share a prize of £50,000 but if the man she chooses is gay, he will be allowed to keep the winnings.
Channel 4 commissioning editor David Williams said: "It feels like the perfect time to bring the much loved 'Playing It Straight' to a whole new E4 audience - a generation with more buff boys with a liking moisturiser than ever before, making the task faced by our lovely lady more tricky than ever."
LionTV managing director Jeremy Mills -who has worked on both the original and the new show - added: "We are thrilled to be making a new version of this great show. The mix of reality and comedy are a perfect fit for the E4 audience, and there's tremendous fun to be had."
The programme is currently being shot in Spain and will appear on screens next year.
