Holly Valance and Anita Dobson topped the leader board on last night's (30.09.11) 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The Australian singer and the former 'EastEnders' actress - who are partnered by Artem Chigvintsev and Robin Windsor respectively - each received 28 points from the judges on the opening episode of the show
Despite admitting beforehand she was worried about her cha-cha-cha, Holly thrilled the judges, with Alesha Dixon - who awarded an eight, the highest individual score of the night - saying: "'You are a very good dancer, you look sensation and you've got the sexiness down. Your technique is already at a very high standard. You're going to be sensational!"
Anita and Robin's waltz was praised as "beautiful" and "elegant" by the panel, with Craig Revel Horwood telling them: "You do need to sort out your head placement but I thought that whole routine was gorgeous."
Meanwhile, Lulu struggled to remember the choreography for her routine with Brendan Cole, and instead made up steps as she went along, giggling throughout the performance, earning the evening's lowest score of just 17.
Craig - who gave a mark of just two - blasted: "It was a complete dance disaster. You made it up from beginning to end."
Also performing last night were presenter Dan Lobb and champion boxer Audley Harrison, who scored 24 and 20 respectively, stargazer Russell Grant, who was satisfied with his total of 21, and Robbie Savage, whose "wooden" performance with Ola Jordan earned a score of just 19.
Tonight (01.10.11), the remaining contestants - Jason Donovan, Nancy Dell'Ollio, Harry Judd, Chelsee Healy, Alex Jones, Edwina Currie and Rory Bremner - will take to the dance floor.
