The astrologer was thrilled to be paired with the brunette beauty on the BBC One show - which hit screens last night (30.09.11) - and says the duo are now so close they even have nicknames for each other.

He said: "Working with Flavia is a dream come true. I said I needed a Piscean or a Libran, as they understand me, and we have such a telepathic link.

"We get on like a house on fire. She calls me Mama Rose and I call her Gypsy because we have this stage mother-and-daughter relationship. If I can't do it with Flav, I can't do it with anyone. I1ll never be able to dance!

"It's been awesome. I feel in absolute harmony with life and the world."

Russell isn't the only person thrilled that he is working with Flavia, as he revealed his mother is also a huge fan of the dancer.

Asked how his family have reacted to his stint on the show, he told new! magazine: "They've been wonderful. I put my mum on the phone to Flavia yesterday and she was saying, 'Oh my God, I can1t believe I'm speaking to Flavia!' She loves it."
