The 24-year-old actress - who portrays brunette bombshell Tina McInyre in the ITV1 soap - admitted she is desperate to make it down the aisle with her fiance, The Wanted singer Max George, before her feisty character does.

She told BANG Showbiz: "I could have a preview if Tina got married on the show, but I secretly want to get married first.

"I want to wear a wedding dress for real before I wear one on screen. I want to know what it's like!"

Despite being keen to beat Tina to the altar, Michelle explained her and Max - who got engaged in June - have had little time to discuss their nuptials, but she has ruled out the possibility of a beach wedding.

Speaking at last night's (26.09.11) Inside Soap Awards at London's Gilgamesh venue - where she picked up the Sexiest Female award for the third year running - she added: "I've not even thought about a dress. Everyone keeps asking me when I'm going to get married but I haven't thought about anything. "When I was younger I always imagined wearing a really girlie dress. No way will I be going for a bikini on the beach look.

"We've both been so busy with work and he's been touring, so we haven't even sat down to talk about it."
