Matt Smith never gets a break from 'Doctor Who'.
The actor is the 11th incarnation of the Time Lord in the BBC One sci-fi drama and while he loves his job, he would like a bit of time off to rest as he shoots for nine months of the year, 11 days at a time, for 12 hours a day.
He said: "I'd like a rest but there's no break from 'Doctor Who'. It's a conveyor belt of things to do but it does get lighter. That said, I'm being creative and challenged and, you gotta pay the bills."
How Matt - who is currently dating model Daisy Lowe - is unsure of how long he will continue portraying The Doctor, and thinks the time could be right to move on within the near future.
He added to Radio Times magazine: "When I finish, I'll be. Well, I don't know how old I'll be, but by the end of next year I'll be 29 so.
"When I'm 40, I won't be playing the same parts. If people are going to employ me on the basis that I once played The Doctor, that's up to them. If the part's right, the money's good, why not?"
