Carley Stenson is eyeing a role in 'Coronation Street'.
The former 'Hollyoaks' actress - who played Steph Cunningham in the Channel 4 soap for over 10 years - is keen to return to TV work when she completes her current stint playing the lovably ditzy Elle Woods in 'Legally Blonde: The Musical'.
However, she is keen to combine her two passions and star in a musical version of 'Coronation Street'.
Carley exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I love the lifestyle of musical theatre and having my lie-ins but I would love to do TV again. I'd prefer to do it in shorter stints if I get the opportunity.
"I've always loved 'Coronation Street', it's based in Manchester and I'm a northern girl so it would suit me down to the ground.
"I love my singing and dancing though so if they do turn it into a musical, I'm first in line for a part."
The 28-year-old star - who is currently taking part in a Facebook campaign to celebrate the launch of Cornetto Enigma ice creams - is also keen to extent her talents to a reality TV show in the future, as she has always dreamed of learning circus skills.
Carley added: "I'd love to do any type of show where you're learning a new talent or skill. I'm not really one for sitting around and doing nothing. If something was really tough, I wouldn't turn my nose up at it - I love that kind of stuff.
"There's a show for everything at the moment but I liked that Cirque du Soleil one. I always wanted to learn the trapeze!"
