Tom Pellereau: I'm not just a 'wacky inventor'

Tom Pellereau
'The Apprentice' winner Tom Pellereau wants to be known as a business success rather than a wacky inventor.
Tom Pellereau doesn't just want to be known as a "wacky inventor".
The 31-year-old inventor - who was crowned champion of 'The Apprentice' last Sunday (17.07.11) landing a business partnership with Lord Alan Sugar and an investment of up to £250,000.- is determined to be a success in his new business venture.
He explained to the Sunday Mirror: "I am determined not just to be known as a wacky inventor but also a successful inventor. In the boardroom I said I believed I could be bigger than Dyson. It was said in the heat of the moment but it's a great aspiration to have and one I think I can achieve."
However, first Tom has to survive an upcoming lunch meeting with his new partner Lord Sugar and he admitted he is "terrified".
Tom said: "Lord Sugar's pretty much as he is on the show which is why he's such a massive success but it does make talking to him a bit nerve-wracking.
"Of course I'm nervous , it's only natural, and this is Alan Sugar we're talking about. But I'm looking forward to it although we haven't discussed who's picking up the bill yet."
