Stars of 'The Only Way Is Essex' have been told to ''start behaving like BAFTA winners'', and have been handed an extensive list of dos and don'ts for when they head out on wild nights on the town.

Stars of 'The Only Way Is Essex' have been told to "start behaving like BAFTA winners".

The perma-tanned troupe - including Amy Childs, Sam Faiers and Chloe Sims - have reportedly been told to conduct themselves in a more upmarket fashion, and have been handed an extensive list of dos and don'ts for when they head out on wild nights on the town.

Additionally, the ITV2 reality stars have been banned from hanging out with people from "less popular" shows after Lauren Goodger, James 'Arg' Argent and Lydia Bright were pictured with 'Made In Chelsea' cast members Ollie Locke and Gabriella Ellis at a recent event.

Producers are believed to have brought up the issue at a recent meeting after seeing snaps of Amy, Sam and Chloe tripping out of various clubs.

A 'TOWIE' insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "After 'TOWIE' won a BAFTA, the producers were on cloud nine. But in recent weeks they feel the stars are letting them down.

"It was pointed out to them that you don't see award winners like Phillip Schofield, Jo Brand, Graham Norton and Sir Trevor McDonald stumbling out of nightclubs."

However, Mark Wright's plans for a "huge" stag party in Portugal next month, with a number of 'TOWIE' cast members - not including his fiance Lauren Goodger - don't look set to go down well with producers.

An insider said: "A huge crowd of the lads from the show - and some of the girls - are going. But not Lauren."
