Sam Faiers 'gutted' about TOWIE'S Mark and Lauren engagement

The Only Way Is Essex's Sam Faiers was ''gutted'' when she found out her former flame Mark Wright had proposed to his on-off girlfriend of 10 years, Lauren Goodger, according to Sam's sister Billie.

Sam Faiers was "gutted" when she found out about ex-boyfriend Mark Wright's engagement.

Billie - the blonde bombshell's older sister, who also stars in 'The Only Way Is Essex' - admitted while her sibling was upset to hear the 24-year-old hunk had proposed to his on-off girlfriend of 10 years, Lauren Goodger, she is "over it" now.

She explained: "I think Sam was a bit gutted when she found out about the engagement but she was more confused as to why Mark was telling her he loved her one minute then proposing to Lauren two weeks later.

"I don't think she cares now - she's moved on."

However, glamour model Sam - who is now dating cheeky co-star Joey Essex - thinks the only reason the famously volatile couple decided to tie the knot is because Lauren doesn't trust Mark after his playboy past.

Sam added to OK! magazine: "The reason they're engaged is because Lauren said she wouldn't trust Mark unless he proposed. How is that right? If someone proposed to me just so that I'd trust them, I'd tell them no. First you earn my trust, then we'll get engaged.

"All I know is that I would never get engaged to someone who wasn't completely devoted to me."
