Latin lessons

A collision of Hispanic hoedowns hits Glasgow this fortnight, with the Centro Español Lorca’s annual celebration of Spanish culture, La Feria Latina, following Dance House’s Argentinian Tango in the City festival. The former is an open day of music, flamenco, theatre, wine, tapas, storytelling and craft workshops for all the family, followed by a grown-up evening with Rafael & Lola Ruedas (pictured) and Orquestra Caché. Tango in the City has two nights of cheek-to-cheek strutting in the Grand Salon de Tango, and nine hours of workshops for all skill levels over the weekend.

Glasgow hosts Tango in the City between Fri 20-Sat 22 Oct, and La Feria Latina on Sat 28 Oct. See listings for details.
