Radiohead have ''stopped planning ahead very far'', according the band's Jonny Greenwood.

Radiohead have "stopped planning ahead very far" in their career.

Band member Johnny Greenwood has spoken for the first time since the shock release of the band's eighth album, 'King Of Limbs' in February, to say the group are now taking a relaxed approach to their music.

He told BBC 6Music: "We have stopped planning ahead very far, we're just making music and wondering where to go next and what to do."

"We are recording with Radiohead and rehearsing, playing and making music and working out what to do.

Meanwhile, the multi-instrumentalist - who is also the BBC's composer in residence - spoke about the similarities between his work on film soundtracks and with his band, and how they have informed each other.

He added: "The band thing is similar frenzy of just trying to make music and not be precious about what instruments we use, and what sound sources we reach for, and trying to treat everything as though it's on a level.

"So playing guitars s great and I love it but I also love playing glockenspiels and pianos, they're all really important to me."

Jonny, 39, has previously scored Oscar winning film 'There Will Be Blood' and has also written the soundtracks to forthcoming films 'Norwegian Wood' and 'We Need To Talk About Kevin'.
