Amy Winehouses' teenage lyrics and notes detailing her plans to become famous have been found in a pile of dumped schoolbooks.

Some of Amy Winehouses' first lyrics have been found in a pile of dumped schoolbooks.

The lyrics, notes and diary entries - written in 2001 when the 'Rehab' singer was just 17, a year before she signed her record contract - were among rubbish dumped on a north London street.

One red notebook has 'Amy's Songs' written on the cover and contained words including: "I'm digging myself into a hole / These days I'll just work when once I had so much soul."

Another verse starts: "Drain my drink and order more, can't you play all night?"

A third verse starts: "Find someone with whom I can come undone."

Among the notes are some of Amy's plans for fame and how she would spend her riches.

One list is headed "When I do record deal" and says: "Treadmill, buy flat in London, buy car, get gym membership, buy a gym membership to put in my flat."

It then finishes with the statement: "live like the bombshell I really am."

Amy - who has battled with drink and drug addiction - plans to make her public comeback next month with a string of shows in Brazil.
