Matt Baker has been practicing his 'Strictly Come Dancing' moves in his 'The One Show' dressing room alongside co-host Alex Jones.

Matt Baker has been practicing his 'Strictly Come Dancing' moves in his 'The One Show' dressing room.

The 32-year-old star - who is currently a guest presenter on the BBC One show after Jason Manford quit earlier this month - revealed he has persuaded co-host Alex Jones to help him rehearse for the dance contest.

He said: "Alex and I have little dances around the dressing room. She's interested in it so you never know if you'll see her there next year!"

'Countryfile' presenter Matt - who along with his professional dancer partner Aliona Vilani is favourite to win 'Strictly...' - admits he is now starting to feel the "pressure" of the competition as he thinks former Conservative minister Ann Widdecombe could win the celebrity dance show.

He explained: "Being favourite is nice but it puts the pressure on. Ann's in with a shout."

Matt also confessed he is keen to host 'The One Show' full-time.

He added to The Sun newspaper: "Of course I'd like the job. But I've got a lot on my plate with 'Strictly...' and 'Countryfile'."
