Katie Waissel to sing The B***h Is Back
Katie Waissel is to perfom 'The B***h Is Back' during Elton John week in a desperate bid to win over the public with her ''jokey'' personality.
The X Factor's Katie Waissel is hoping to show her playful side by performing a rendition of 'The B***h Is Back' as part of Elton John week.
The controversial hopeful - who narrowly escaped elimination from the ITV1 show on Sunday (07.11.10) after finding herself in the bottom two for the third time - is hoping the public will warm to the "tongue in cheek" song.
Including the lyrics "I'm a b***h, I'm a b***h, oh the b***h is back", it is hoped the performance will help the 24-year-old blonde turn her fortunes around and portray her "jokey" personality to the public.
An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Katie has been a diva but has also had her fair share of problems on the show. This song will show she doesn't take herself too seriously and is up for a laugh.
"It will be a bit tongue in cheek. Katie knows she can't be everyone's cup of tea but she wants to get across a jokey element."
The aspiring star - who proclaimed "s*d it" and sat down on the stage during her sing-off performance on Sunday - has reportedly suffered panic attacks after receiving a negative backlash from the public, but Katie admitted she thinks she is "turning a corner".
She said: "It's been tough, but I feel as though I'm finally turning a corner. I am being myself and I'm going to give it a real go this week. Hopefully, people will vote for me."
