X Factor 'a fix'

'The X Factor' has been branded "a fix" by evictee Treyc Cohen's father.
Fitzgerald Cohen believes the 28-year-old singer - who was eliminated from the ITV1 show on Sunday after mentor Cheryl Cole refused to choose between her and Katie Waissel - was "let down" by Cheryl, as his daughter is much more talented than controversial Katie.
He told The Sun newspaper: "It's a fix. It's as simple as that. I have no idea why Treyc is out. She was easily the best singer and should not have lost to Katie. Lots of things happen behind the scenes so certain contestants are kept in. The show is not about singing, it's a freak show now.
"I think Treyc has been let down by Cheryl. She knew Treyc was the better singer but sat back and let her go."
Mr. Cohen's comments follow the recent revelation that had Cheryl taken the vote to lockdown and tied the two contestants, Treyc would still be in the competition.
Katie - who was saved by Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell - polled just one-third of the votes Treyc won, and would have been axed from the show had the public had their way.
Meanwhile, Cheryl's remaining girls - Rebecca Ferguson, Cher Lloyd and Katie - have reportedly complained to music mogul Simon Cowell about how little they see their mentor.
An insider told MailOnline: "The girls did speak to Simon and complained that Cheryl spends barely any time with them.
"Cheryl went to Los Angeles last week, but it didn't even matter really as she only ever really sees the girls on Fridays for a final run-through, when other judges like Dannii and Louis are working so hard - and Simon, of course, is spending all his time with One Direction.
"Cheryl did have the girls in for a glass of champagne on Sunday night, but they are all a little peeved, to say the least, and tensions are running high."
