LA tropical punkers Abe Vigoda on UK tour in support of album Crush
Alt rock 4-piece eschew angular punk for synth-enhanced, colder sound
LA tropical punkers Abe Vigoda are doing the rounds just now with their third album Crush. They’ve aimed at a colder, more synth-enhanced sound this time round (it’s a shift from the angular punk on their first album Kid City, and 2008’s rowdy-tropical sounding Skeleton). Listen to the fairly dancey ‘Throwing Shade’ and fairly energetic ‘Crush’.
Captain’s Rest, Glasgow, Tue 9 Nov.
