Legendary 'Neighbours' character Harold Bishop is set to make a return to the Australian soap in the coming months.
Harold Bishop is set to make a triumphant return to 'Neighbours'.
Sam Clark - who plays hunky Ringo Brown in the Australian soap - has revealed the iconic character could be making a return to Ramsay Street in the coming months following his 2009 departure after a prostate cancer storyline.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Harold Bishop could be coming back to 'Neighbours'. I think everyone on the show realised how much the fans missed him."
However, the 23-year-old star admits the reason Ian Smith - the actor who played Harold - left the soap in the first place was because it was moved from a primetime slot on BBC One to Five.
Speaking at the launch of the Indesit Party Launderette, Sam explained: "Ian was actually fuming when he heard the show was moving to Five. Obviously, 'Neighbours' has got a massive following in the UK and he thought the channel change would have a big impact.
"He honestly thought the producers had lost their minds when he heard, and it was a big part of his decision to leave."
