Show Obsession wins Bribe of the Week

Gemma Leader and David Kelly win us over with some chocolate-covered shortbread

This tasty heart-shaped, chocolate-covered shortbread was sent in by David Kelly and Gemma Leader, in exchange for a cheeky mention of their show, Obsession. ‘It’s about discovering what we are truly obsessed with,’ says Leader. ‘We’re probably all happy to admit to being into something cool, but we hope the audience will share things with us that they’re happy to look like a berk for!’

And the shortbread? ‘I like a biscuit, I can’t lie, but not to the point of obsession. Cake’s more my thing, but we bribed journalists with cake last year, so biscuits were the obvious next step.’ Might this propensity for payoffs come in handy when certain cologne manufacturers come knocking for copyright infringement? ‘Actually, we’ve been asked to front their next advertising campaign, but what with all the other modelling contracts we get offered, I doubt either of us will have the time.’
