Josh Homme
The Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has revealed the rockers' new album is ''all about wiggling hips''.
The new Queens of the Stone Age album is "all about wiggling hips".
Founding member, guitarist Josh Homme, revealed the band's new record will mark a return to the sounds associated with their fifth studio album 'Era Vulgaris'.
Speaking to Britain's Daily Star newspaper, he said: "I have ideas already. It's all about wiggling hips.
"The music is gonna go further down that strange and lovely path of the 'Era Vulgaris' album."
The singer - who formed the group following the break up of his previous band Kyuss - explained the rockers are pleased their next record will be released on indie label Dangerbird so they can make music "just for the sake of it".
He explained: "Finally we're in a time frame where you can make music and art just for the sake of it," he said.
"There's no tap dance with a label executive who just wants to sell stuff."
Josh recently revealed he and his bandmates Troy Van Leeuwen, Nick Oliveri, Joey Castillo and Dean Fertita were looking forward to their fifth appearance at the Reading Festival this summer so they can play whatever they want.
He said: "What I love about this one is we have nothing to promote, no reason to be there. We're just there to kick a*s!
"I want to get everybody dancing! We just want to give it to them. It's kind of like reuniting with an old flame, you know, in your old town. So frankly, it's like going home again and having a nice sh*g."
