Fern Britton
Former 'This Morning' presenter Fern Britton has had such a fun time since she left the show in July 2009 that she doesn't miss working on it at all.
Fern Britton doesn't miss presenting 'This Morning'.
The presenter - who left the daytime TV show in July 2009 after 10 years on the series - insists she has been having a great time since she walked away from the programme and has no regrets.
She said: "No, I don't. 'This Morning' was a terrific part of my life, but I definitely don't regret my decision. I had been thinking about it for two years before I told anyone. When I did, everyone was really shocked and told me I would regret it. I haven't, though, and I really have enjoyed the last year so much."
Fern still keeps in touch with her former co-host Phillip Schofield and thinks her replacement Holly Willoughby is doing a great job with Phillip.
When asked whether she speaks to Phillip, the 52-year-old star - whose TV chef husband Phil Vickery still appears on 'This Morning' - added to new! magazine: "Yes, I do, although I haven't seen him since Christmas. That is because he has been so incredibly busy. We really did have such a special chemistry, particularly when it came to our bouts of giggles.
"If that had been 20 years ago, we'd have got the sack, but they encouraged us to laugh! I do watch it from time to time - and when my Phil is on. I have kept in touch with a lot of friends from the show.
"I also think Holly is doing a fantastic job. She looks amazing and her and Phil work well together as a team. Of course it is different, but that has to be a good thing."
