Where Do You Draw the Line with Cloning?

It’s been 13 years since Edinburgh-based scientists successfully cloned a sheep, and as the first man-made life forms blubber onto the planet, scientists from Edinburgh’s Roslin Institute, where Dolly the Sheep was created, get together with their opposite numbers at the University of Copenhagen to discuss the future of cloning and genetic engineering in animals. The talk’s called After Dolly: Where Do You Draw the Line?, which suggests to us that there may be a lively ethical debate involved. We live in interesting times, comrades.
