Taking Dawn - Time to Burn

Powering straight outta Las Vegas, Taking Dawn obviously grew up supping down the most hedonistic of rock cocktails Sin City has to offer. Big riffs, big shout-out-loud choruses all brewed from the DNA of the likes of Skid Row, GN’R and Bon Jovi. There is a definite touch of the Steel Panther about Time to Burn, and it does veer towards the world of parody at times (particularly the cheestastic, ‘Endlessly’) but manages to just about skate the right side of send up (even on their cover of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘The Chain’). Good time rock’n’roll made for playing out loud while you sink a few brewskis.
