Dum Dum Girls 2010 UK tour
Inspired both by the Vaselines’ album Dum-Dum and Iggy Pop’s ‘Dum Dum Boys’, Sub-Poppers Dum Dum Girls know their roots. Fronted by Dee Dee and featuring former Vivian Girl Frankie Rose, their debut album I Will Be is a mix of early punk rock and 60s girl pop – a sound underlined by having producer Richard Gottehrer on board, whose credits include ‘I Want Candy’ and ‘My Boyfriend’s Back’.
