Lindsay Lohan took a tumble into a prickly plant after over-zealous paparazzi got in her way as she tried to enter a house party.

Lindsay Lohan was pushed into a prickly bush by paparazzi.

The 23-year-old actress was heading to a house party in Hollywood after a drinking session at the Trousdale nightclub on Sunset Boulevard on Tuesday night (23.03.10) when she took a tumble into a "sharp" plant, and she didn't hesitate to blame her high heels and photographers for the fall.

She wrote on twitter: "Only I would get pushed into a large, sharp plant by crazy paparazzi!!! I need to start wearing more flats :/ (sic)"

The clearly annoyed star - who looked refreshed following her trip to the club - was then helped to her feet by a friend and some photographers who stopped taking pictures and came to her aid.

It is the second time in a week Lindsay has had trouble on a trip to the Trousdale club - she was previously made to wait outside because of a private party happening at the venue, something which she did not take kindly to.

She wrote on twitter: "I've never been treated so poorly in my life, this is why I never come to LA - isn't security, after I respect them and their work and tip them, aren't they supposed to `protect' us? Rather than man-handel and scare us (girls)?

"That was scary, mean, arrogant and unnecessarily aggressive. I pick new york just like Jay Z... Wouldn't you? (sic)"
