Glasgow Art Fair 2010
Glasgow Art Fair Now back for its 15th year, Glasgow Art Fair has long painted a colourful canvas for those interested in buying and selling art, and this year looks set to be no different. Setting its trademark white tented pavilion in Glasgow’s George Square, this year’s Fair showcases 46 selected galleries from both at home and abroad, exhibiting work for sale by over 1000 artists. With prices ranging from £50 to £70,000, the GAF is pretty adept at offering something for all budgets, whether you are simply browsing or hardcore buying. Artists’ work on display will range from Arthur Melville, E.A Hornel, Joan Eardley and J.D. Fergusson to Alasdair Gray, Adrian Wiszniewski, Peter Howson and more. The daily free guided tours come highly recommended.
George Square, Glasgow, Thu 25–Sun 28 Mar. See www.glasgowartfair.com for more.
