Red Bull Music Academy 2010 brings Tony Lionni, Marco Bernardi and Toddla T to Glasgow

The organisers of this year's Red Bull Music Academy have correctly identified Glasgow as a pioneering musical melting pot that it is by choosing to host their unrivalled selection of lectures, worskshops, live sets, demos and - most importantly - parties in the city. Instead of just keeping it at the usual host city - unsurprising London - they're braving both our never-ending February and the culturally embedded musical history.

Spread over two days, the hyrbid of mediums will be held at SWG3, the Apple Store in Buchanan Street before moving on to the Sub Club for evening events.

The first of the two days, Friday 26th March, will include some fantastically free lectures which will reveal the closely-guarded secrets of the mixing desk with teachers Soma Records' Slam and Marco Bernardi, DJ Buckley, Basic Leeds, Caspa, Toddla T and Louis Den. Following this will be a DJ set from Slam, DJ Buckley and a live set from Marco Bernardi.

The second night, Saturday 27th, is headlined by Kerri Chandler and will be hosted at the Sub Club, where allcomers can get heavily involved in a Red Bull Music Academy special collaboration with Sub Culture.

Friday 26th February: SWG3 – Free Event, Over 18s Only, Saturday 27th February: Sub Club.

Tickets for Subculture Red Bull Music Academy Special @ Sub Club - £9 before 12 & £12 after.
