Hip-hop Bristolian Tricky re-invents himself once again with the help of this musical collision with Florida-via-Jamaica-via-Toronto outfit, South Rakkas Crew – producers of Beenie Man, Bounty Killer and Sizzla. With that mercurial ‘Straight Outta Knowle West’ flava/whisper, Tricky exhumes his style of old on numbers such as ‘Bacative’ (check the ‘We come in peace and leave you in pieces’ lyrics), ‘C’mon Baby’ and ‘Baligaga’. With more direction than the M1, both crews get in some dub-tastic killa b-lines, none better than on ‘Slow’ and the bible-thumping ‘Far Away’.
