Coming to us all the way from far off Framlingham (yep, it’s a real place – we looked it up on Wikipedia), Alice Russell shares her golden soulful voice and funky instrumentals, in promotion of her Pot Of Gold album. She keeps good company, with the likes of Mr Scruff lending a hand on Pot Of Gold Remixes, also released this month. Make sure you’re around when she finally manages to live up to the dream expressed on her MySpace page: ‘My dream is to one day open my mouth for the sound of the munkaroo to … to flow willingly from betwixt my swollen lips!’ Quite.
