We Are …Electric and Sick Note join forces to bring you Steve Aoki, not so much a DJ as a one man industry. In terms of musical output he runs Dim Mak Records home to the likes of Klaxons, Bloody Beetroots, Scanners, MSTRKRFT and other cutting edge electronic manipulators alongside his own production work and punk rock antics, then there’s the remix work (often with Blake Miller as Weird Science) of names like The Killers, Good Charlotte and Chris Cornell before we mention the Dim Mak clothing line (designed by Steve and his sister model/actress Devon Aoki) his own ‘Aoki Headphones’ by WESC or his Korean BBQ restaurant.
We Are … Electric vs Sick Note at Cabaret Voltaire, Edinburgh, Fri 13 Nov.
More: Clubs, Music, Techno (Clubs), Blake Miller, bloody beetroots, Chris Cornell, Good Charlotte, Klaxons, MSTRKRFT, Scanners, The Killers, Weird Science
