La Befana
If it’s Autumn it must be time for another series of lunchtime plays courtesy of Oran Mor and that old reliable, the Play, a Pie and a Pint season.
The season gets into its stride with this collaboration between artist Adrian Wiszniewski and composer Gordon Rigby, who have reinvented an old Italian tale about a housekeeper who visits all the children in Italy on the eve of 6 January to fill their socks with sweets or lumps of coal.
This new piece follows on from Wiszniewski and Rigby’s success with GBH last year. As ever the prince of a ticket includes a pie and a drink.
Oran Mor, Glasgow, Mon 14–Sat 19 Sep.
