Glasgow School of Art - Masters in Fashion Promenade
Woolly thinking
Over the years, Glasgow School of Art’s prestigious Masters in Textiles as Fashion has produced some properly pioneering designers: from internationally-recognised names like Jonathan Saunders and Pam Hogg to The List’s current favourites, upcoming womenswear designer Jamie Bruski Tetsill and innovative hosiery-makers Bebaroque. As the current crop of graduates prepare for their Promenade, we took a look into their studios and found a stunningly diverse range of approaches: knitwear specialists, cutting-edge digital printers, Elizabethan-era inspired jewellery and some really gorgeous silhouettes. Have a look.
Masters’ Fashion Promenade, Mackintosh Gallery, Glasgow School of Art, Thu 3 Sep. Showings at 7pm and 8pm. Tickets £5, available from the GSA Shop on 0141 353 4526.
