Outsider music festival cancelled
The Outsider festival has been cancelled. The festival, which was due to be held in Rothiemurcus in the Cairngorms on the 27th and 28th June included Sharleen Spiteri, Teenage Fanclub and The Futureheads on the lineup.
Key elements of the festival website at www.outsiderfestival.co.uk, including lineup information and ticket purchasing, have been removed.
The current economic climate has seen several music festivals struggle to sell tickets. Other 2009 festivals recently forced to cancel include the Homecoming festival on Irvine beach.
An official announcement is expected on Monday.
