Kylie Minogue ready for musical
Kylie Minogue is planning to return to acting and admits it is her dream to star in a musical.
Kylie Minogue wants to star in a musical.
The singer - who had a cameo role in 'Moulin Rouge!' as the absinthe green fairy - would love to return to acting, but is wary of making another "dud" drama.
Kylie - who first shot to fame in Australian soap 'Neighbours' - said: "I've been thinking about it for a while. I guess the terrifying part is, what do you do? I've done so many - well not too many but I've had my share - dud films and I don't want to do another.
"I would like to do a straightforward drama, almost pick up where I thought I was going so many years ago. The other thing is a musical. I've asking around. That will happen, by hook or by crook."
Kylie's next venture is to record a song and dance number for forthcoming Bollywood movie 'Blue'.
The 40-year-old star hasn't ruled out appearing in the film.
She added to Britain's Elle magazine: "I'm so excited to see and feel the process, how they do it. And since I've got a musical in my mind who knows?"
