Gwyneth Paltrow's guide to London
American actress Gwyneth Paltrow has given her top tips for life in London, where she lives with her family.
Gwyneth Paltrow has written her own guide to London living.
The American actress - who lives in the UK capital with her Coldplay frontman husband Chris Martin and their two children, Apple, four, and two-year-old Moses - has been inundated with requests to give her views on life in the cosmopolitan city.
She wrote on her Goop website: "Many of my friends or friends of friends have asked me for, 'My London'."
However, Gwyneth's top haunts would be out of most people's price range.
The 'Two Lovers' star has chosen several expensive venues and admits her favourite hotels - The Berkeley and Blake - "are on the pricey side".
She also advised friends to visit exclusive restaurants J. Sheekey, Locanda Locatelli, and Petite Maison.
For the more budget-conscious, Gwyneth recommended chain noodle bar Wagamama, which has several restaurants around the capital.
For drinking establishments, Gwyneth - who has been known to enjoy a pint of Guinness - visits The Engineer in North London's idyllic Primrose Hill and also The Grenadier, where her best friend Madonna's ex-husband Guy Ritchie has partied.
