Vashti Bunyan
A rare home town gig for singer-songwriter Vashti Bunyan. Acknowledged as an influential figure in the world of ‘freak folk’ she quit music in 1970 after working with the likes of Mick Jagger, Donovan, Fairport Convention and The Incredible String Band, re-emerging in 2005 with Lookaftering her first record in 35 years. Here’s she’s performing as part of Oxjam (see listings for further Oxjam events).
The Bowery, Edinburgh, Fri 27 Mar.
