Singer-and-actress Jennifer Lopez is reported to be starring in Broadway musical 'In the Heights'.

Jennifer Lopez is reported to be starring in a Broadway musical.

The singer-and-actress is considering a role in the New York theatre production of 'In the Heights'.

Jennifer attended two performances of the show last week and was heard discussing potential roles with producer Meryl Poster over dinner at Nobu.

It is believed the 39-year-old star may also be in talks about adapting the play - which is about the Washington Heights area of Manhattan, New York - into a film.

However, Jennifer's representative has denied she is involved in negotiations regarding the show, saying: "She loves the play but is not Broadway bound."

Jennifer - who gave birth to twins Max and Emme in February last year - is set to return to acting in the spring when she stars as a pregnant woman for romantic comedy 'Plan B'.

The film sees the star's character opt for artificial insemination after she realises time is running out for her to have a baby - only to meet the man of her dreams on the same day her pregnancy is confirmed.
